NASHUA – Police believe speed was a factor in a crash that killed a 21-year-old Milford man and left two passengers with serious injuries.
Khi Dwire, 21, of Milford, was driving his black 2004 Nissan Maxima west on Main Dunstable Road late Friday night when he lost control and collided with a tree, police said. The accident occurred just before midnight in front of 420 Main Dunstable Road. Dwire, a 2008 graduate of Nashua High School South, was killed. No other cars were involved in the accident, police said.
In addition, two passengers in the car were seriously injured and hospitalized. Stephen Duval, 21, of Nashua, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and later to Massachusetts General Hospital. Raymond Coutu, 20, of Nashua, was transported to St. Joseph Hospital and later to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Duval and Coutu were both listed in serious condition, police said.
A preliminary investigation indicates excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
The case is under investigation by the Nashua Police Department.
Witnesses to the crash are asked to call the police department at 594-3500.
