LITTLETON – Police in northeastern Massachusetts say two people died and another was injured when their car crashed into a utility pole in Littleton.
Littleton police told WBZ radio (http://cbsloc.al/OID0hc ) that the car was traveling westbound on Route 119 when it went off the road and hit the pole early Sunday morning.
Police say two passengers were thrown from the car and died. The driver is being treated at Lowell General Hospital. Officials haven’t released the driver’s condition.
The accident victims’ names haven’t been released yet.
Police are trying to determine what caused the crash.
