WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – A section of West Street, Route 32, in Ware was closed for about 3 hours Monday night after a 2 car crash.
Ware Police Officer Kendall Perrault told 22News the drivers from both cars were taken to the hospital; one was taken to a Worcester Hospital on a medical helicopter, and the other was rushed to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
The extent of their injuries has not been released at this time, but the cars involved in the crash were seriously damaged. No charges have been filed so far.
Officer Perrault said the Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team was called in to trying to figure out what caused the crash. West Street was closed at 5:30 p.m. and reopened around 8:30 p.m.
2 days before this crash, an arrest was made in Ware after another accident on West Street. This past Saturday, Ware Police said 40-year-old Danielle Houle of Hardwick was one the drivers involved in the crash. After running her information, they discovered she had an arrest warrant out in Florida. She was arrested and charged as a fugitive from justice.
