One critically injured in Route 3 rollover between Exits 2 & 3

Northbound traffic was closed for three hours during morning commute

PLYMOUTH – One person was critically injured in a rollover accident on Route 3 northbound between Exits 2 and 3 in Plymouth around 6:15 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2010.

According to emergency broadcast reports, one person was ejected from a sports utility vehicle.  An off-duty EMT performed CPR on the victim at the scene.  The victim was taken by ambulance to Jordan Hospital.  Dana Brown, 40, of Plymouth, was not wearing a seatbelt when his SUV rolled over about a half mile south of Exit 3 shortly after 6 a.m.

Several eyewitnesses reported to State Police that a green SUV, which may have been involved in the crash, left the scene.  Route 3 northbound was closed at Exit 2 while State Police investigated and reconstructed the accident.
