MANCHESTER, N.H. —Three people were injured early Sunday morning after an alleged drunken driver crashed into a car on Interstate 93 in Manchester, state police said.
Gregory Dawson, 27, of Salem was charged with driving under the influence after colliding with another car on I-93 around 2 a.m., police said.
A passenger in the car Dawson hit was ejected. Dawson and the driver of the other car suffered non-life-threatening injuries. All three were taken to the Elliot Hospital.
Dawson passed state troopers on Interstate 293 at a high rate of speed, police said. Troopers were trying to catch up to the car when Dawson lost control and hit the other car on I-93 south.
Speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, police said.
