BRIGHTON— An 81-year-old man was killed Friday night when he was crushed between two cars after he was involved in a minor accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Massachusetts State Police said Arkloo Wong had just been involved in a minor accident in the westbound lane of the Turnpike, about a mile west of the Prudential tunnel. Wong and the other driver, a 73-year-old Worcester man, stopped their vehicles in the right active travel lane to exchange paperwork.
Wong was standing behind his car when it was rear-ended by a third car, operated by a 30-year-old Brighton man. Wong died at the scene of the crash. The second driver was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation by the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services and State Police Detectives attached to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
