State Trooper struck by car in Fall River


FALL RIVER – Massachusetts state police say that one of their troopers was struck early this morning in Fall River.

Around 6:28 a.m., Trooper Christopher Kaszyk was at the scene of a one-car accident when another vehicle hit him and hit the car. The oncoming vehicle was coming from the Route 79 ramp.

Kaszyk was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall Rive, and has already been treated and released.
