Uninsured Motorist

With uninsured motorist coverage, a driver or a member of his family will be compensated for bodily injury inflicted by an uninsured or a hit-and-run driver. In some states this coverage may also include underinsured motorists, such as those who only have the required minimum liability insurance. Your insurance company will pay what the other driver's did not cover up to your policy limit.
