NEWTON – A 12-year-old boy has been struck by a car in Newton, Massachusetts.
Police say the boy and his brother were walking to school at the time of the accident. His brother ran across the street; they were not in the crosswalk. He was hit by a car as he attempted to cross.
Police do not believe that snow or large snow banks are a factor, but solar glare may have played a part.
The accident is under investigation; no charges have been filed at this time.
The extent of the boy’s injuries are unknown at this time.
