STOUGHTON – A Bridgewater woman is scheduled to face a judge to answer charges in connection with a fatal car crash.
State police say 48-year-old Patricia Neville-Colp is slated to be arraigned Monday in Stoughton District Court on drunken driving and motor vehicle homicide charges.
Police allege Neville-Colp had been drinking and smoking marijuana before a crash just after 11 p.m. on Saturday on Route 24 south.
Police say her Jeep Cherokee side-swiped a Kia Sportage. A passenger in the Kia, 57-year-old Maureen O’Brien Ellis of Easton, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene The driver of the Kia, as well as another passenger, were hospitalized.
A responding trooper says Neville-Colp tried to drive away after the accident.
It was not clear if she had a lawyer.
