Car crashes into Lynn home during police chase

LYNN – Police in Lynn, Massachusetts are on the scene of a car that crashed into a building after a police chase in Saugus.

Witnesses say they first saw a black car flying down the road and Saugus police cars chasing it. They said they then saw the car crash directly into a two-story brick home.

Local photographer Rich Yearwood was called to photograph a reported robbery at a Wallgreens when he saw the suspects take off and police chase after them.

“I saw a black car fly by me, and then all of a sudden this cop comes by,” he said. “They’re doing about 60 miles an hour, and by the time I turn around I just hear a crash.” Yearwood says he saw the passenger covered in blood and the driver leaning over the steering wheel not moving.

Police have not yet this confirmed this information, and there is no word yet on the injuries of the car’s passengers.
