A driver was ejected from her vehicle and seriously injured Saturday evening after a two-car crash in Hingham.
Police said they found the driver of a 2007 Toyota Yaris suffering from life-threatening injuries on the sidewalk near the scene of the collision near the intersection of Rockland and Kirby Streets. She was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Two occupants of the second vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both declined to be transported to a hospital.
Authorities said preliminary evidence suggested that the Toyota was making a left turn when the two cars struck.
None of the passengers were wearing seat belts.
