Five injured in Route 20 crash in Sturbridge

STURBRIDGE – Five people were injured, including three children, in a two-car crash Saturday on Route 20 near Cracker Barrel restaurant, according to Sturbridge police.

Police said 6- and 7-year-old girls, a 4-year-old boy and two adult women, all riding in the same vehicle, were injured in an accident about 5 p.m. that closed the road temporarily. Route 20 was later reopened.

All five victims were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, where they were being treated last night.
