BOSTON — State police say a man was killed in Boston after he lost control of his sport utility vehicle and rolled over.
Police say the 54-year-old Roxbury man was traveling on the VFW Parkway when the crash happened at around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The driver was partially ejected from the car and pinned underneath. More than 25 bystanders tried to lift the SUV off of him.
He was taken to Faulkner Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Authorities haven’t identifed him. Two other passengers suffered injuries not considered life threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
