Mass. Police ID drivers of fatal wrong-way crash

State police have identified the two people killed when four cars crashed on the Massachusetts Turnpike at Ludlow on Friday.

Clarence Lux, 84, of New Britain, Conn., was driving the wrong way when his car collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Robert Magee, 28, of West Bridgewater, Mass.

Both men died at a hospital.

Police had received several calls of a wrong-way driver, but could not reach him before the accident.

Family members tell The Boston Globe and The Boston Herald that Magee served a tour of duty in Iraq in 2007.
