Paramedics Use Jaws of Life to Pull Out Driver in Route 95 North Crash

Massachusetts State Police are investigating a car on the North Attleboro-Mansfield line that happened Wednesday afternoon.

Massachusetts State Police units are at the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 northbound, on the Mansfield/North Attleboro line. The crash occurred at approximately 1 p.m.

A 19-year-old female victim was extricated from a vehicle by emergency responders using the Jaws of Life, State Police said in a press release. The victim was then transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Mansfield EMS. A Medflight was called in but cancelled shortly thereafter.

North Attleboro and Mansfield Fire Departments responded to the scene. State troopers from the Foxboro Barracks, the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, and the Crime Scene Services Section are investigating. The Two leftmost lanes are closed.

Commuters should expect delays.
