Pedestrian struck by car in Stoughton Medflighted with life-threatening injuries

A female pedestrian struck by a sedan Sunday night in Stoughton was Medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with life-threatening injuries, according to Stoughton Fire Captain Scott Breen.

The accident occurred around 8:50 p.m. on July 21 at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Grove Street.

The female, in her 30s, was struck by a vehicle, suffering multiple traumatic injuries, according to Breen.

There were no other injuries.

Shortly after first responders arrived, the pedestrian was transported from the scene to the Medflight landing zone at the Stoughton High football field, and then airlifted to MGH, Breen said.
