Police: Road rage suspected in motorcycle crash

MILFORD – A Massachusetts woman was involved in a road rage incident that resulted in an injured motorcyclist, New Hampshire State Police said.

Police said Charlene Bregoli, 43, of Braintree, Mass., was driving west on Route 101 in Milford on Wednesday with a 7-month-old passenger when her vehicle collided with a motorcycle operated by Craig D. Harrigan, 22, Amherst.

Police said Bregoli and Harrigan, “appeared to be involved in a road rage incident,” but declined to provide any further details about why road rage is suspected.

Harrigan, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and was struck by a vehicle operated by Michael N. Maloney, 52, Peterborough. Harrigan was taken to University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, Mass., with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Bregoli, Maloney and the baby were not injured.
