MBTA Transit Police say there were non-life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a train and another vehicle in Massachusetts.
The incident happened just after 11 a.m. Friday on Hanover Street in Newbury.
There were 31 passengers on board the commuter rail, plus its crew, according to Keolis, the company that operates the MBTA commuter rail lines. No one on board was injured in the crash.
The Newburyport line train is significantly delayed. Buses were initially dispatched to transport the passengers but as of 12:30 p.m., the train had been released to Newburyport.
Delays of 10 to 20 minutes from Newburyport should be expected.
MBTA police will lead the investigation.
