FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham man remains in critical condition after he was hit by a car while walking on Rte. 9 on Sunday.
Dorzell Porter, 25, remains at UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after the 3:18 a.m. crash on Sunday, a hospital spokesman said today.
The Massachusetts State Police had initially reported Monday that Porter had died in Sunday’s crash, but that was incorrect.
Police said Porter was walking on Rte. 9 east near Oakcrest Drive, when he was hit by a Honda Civic driven by a Milford woman. Police did not identify her.
The accident is being investigated by both the Framingham Police and the Massachusetts State Police. The driver has not been cited.
