A tractor-trailer driver was arrested Wednesday and charged with his third OUI after his truck rolled backwards on Route 128 and hit a car stopped in traffic, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Jody Harmon, a 46-year-old man from Winchendon, was arrainged Thursday in Woburn District Court.
Around 5:50 Wednesday evening, Harmon was stopped in traffic in Burlington, near the Route 3 north on-ramp, when his truck rolled backwards into a Mercedes. Police responded to the scene and arrested Harmon after an investigation revealed he was drunk, according to police.
The driver of the Mercedes was not injured in the crash, police said.
