Worcester teen dies in single-car crash in West Boylston

WEST BOYLSTON – Police said a 17-year-old Worcester driver died in a single-car crash early Wednesday morning on Route 110 in West Boylston.

Hayden White, 17, of 142 Malden St., Worcester, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to a spokesman from the Worcester district attorney’s office.

West Boylston Police Chief Dennis Minnich said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and that a witness reported the car had gone off the road and into a tree near the Sterling town line.

Police said speed was a factor in the crash, which is under investigation by the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Collision Reconstruction Team.
