Three people are recovering from injuries after a serious accident in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. It happened Tuesday morning on Route 16, when a car drifted into the path of a dump truck, setting off a chain reaction crash.
The accident involved four vehicles and spanned more than 600 feet.
Police are still investigating the incident but say 73-year-old George Cournoyer of Slatersville was behind the wheel of the silver Camry that drifted to the opposite side of the road.
The car hit a dump truck carrying an excavator- which tipped into the middle of the road.
Two other cars were sent crashing into a guard rail.
