PEABODY – Three people were rushed to the hospital late Friday, after a serious accident on Warren Street.
Multiple calls were placed to police around 11:55 p.m., for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The driver, a Nahant man, has been summonsed to Peabody District Court for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle recklessly to endanger.
He and two other people from Nahant and Lynn, were extricated from the mangled vehicle and transported by ambulance to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The extent of the their injuries were not made known.
The vehicle collided with a pole, which authorities say was damaged in the crash. No further information was made available Sunday night.
